“People’s Feat in Great Patriotic War 1941-1945”

The Ministry of the Defence of the Russian Federation presents the unique open access electronic database which is filling with documents available in military archives, related to War’s operations, heoric feats and rewards of Soviet soldiers of the Great Patriotic War.

Project main objectives of the project are: to perpetuate the memory of all heroes of the War – irrespective of a rank, scales of a feat, the award status; the patriotic education of youth on military valour of fathers; and to create the documental basement for counteration to attempts of falsification of World War II history.

Creation of the open access electronic repository of records, related to the key period of modern history of a Civilization, does not have analogues by volumes, the historical and social importance, and it is an eternal monument to a great People’s Feat.
