Il progetto e-Scholarship Editions, gestito dalla Californa Digital Library, promuove la pubblicazione di testi universitari in fomato digitale. La maggior parte dei testi sono a pagamento (accesso gratuito solo per gli utenti interni dell’Università della California), ma circa il 25% degli olte 1.400 e-book del catalogo sono accessibili gratuitamete.
